 Bonaire

Located in the southern Caribbean, Bonaire is a small island known for its pioneering role in the preservation of nature, particularly in terms of its beautiful marine environment.

Because of this, Bonaire has become renowned for its excellent scuba diving, snorkelling, wind surfing and kayaking- both in the mangroves and Open Ocean.

The climate, the water, the sun and the gorgeous scenic routes, which are ideal for cycling or mountain biking, generally attract holidaymakers. The friendly people of the island are also a huge attraction- with tourist often remarking on how easy it is to slot into the island life of Bonaire.

This popular destination is often remarked upon as being very laid back, slow paced and tranquil. This is extremely true- but in addition to this description comes the bouncy nightlife full of fun places to visit and world-class restaurants.

The island’s’ highly eco-friendly approach to sun holidays are a huge attraction to its visitors. Unlike many mainstream destinations Bonaire prioritises its natural environment and attractions over heavy commercial development and glitzy nightlife.
