Las Vegas
Bright lights, lavish casinos and luxury hotels, Las Vegas is everything it is hyped up to be and much more.  This bizarre city of fun and fantasy is the entertainment capital of the world with endless things to see and do that will amaze visitors of all ages.
Located in the middle of the Mojave Desert, Nevada, the sun shines all year round on the infamous Sin City. Just 70 years ago this thriving metropolis was a remote railway stop between Los Angeles and Salt Lake City with less than a thousand inhabitants.  Today, Las Vegas is home to over 1 million people and a further 35 million flock to its lively casinos every year.
Las Vegas has 18 out of 21 of the largest hotels in the world with the elite and famous from all over settling into the luxury suites.  Visitors will not believe their eyes when first walking down 'The Strip'.  Expect the unexpected with skylines of New York and Paris, the canals of Venice, the Pyramids of Egypt and an outright sea battle between a Pirate ship and a British Galleon at Treasure Island all in view.  Another major surprise comes in the form of the hotel room rates and restaurant bills, which are the lowest in the western world.
Described as the world's largest theme park, Vegas is marketed as a family destination with plenty to see and do that doesnt involve gambling.  There is everything from wildlife viewing to theme park thrills, world-class shows, shopping malls, golf courses and exclusive nightclubs.
Although Vegas will always be associated with casinos, gambling and living extravagantly, there really is something for everyone in this unique city.  All ages will enjoy the madness that is Las Vegas.
